The Beloved Master Jesus explains what was meant by these words: "When I... said: "Pray without ceasing," it was to help form the habit in the outer self, of turning the attention back to the "Beloved I AM Presence," often enough to keep Its Stream of Light-Substance, constantly flooding not only into the body; but into your affairs, that you might have the Perfection Which abides only in the Light... (p30) He who "prays without ceasing," is automatically freed by the very return energy from "The Beloved I AM Presence." As It comes back on your Life Stream's attention, your world will be filled, full of the Perfection from your Presence." ('The Voice of the I AM' July 1948 p30-31)
