1 Timothy 4:1-3 Commanding to abstain from meats

4 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

² Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

³ Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created
to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

Note that in the New King James Version the word "meats" is translated as the word "foods."

4 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, ² speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, ³ forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. -1 Timothy 4:1-3 New King James Version (NKJV) 

The Ascended Master Saint Germain teaches us why the Ascended Masters, including Beloved Jesus, Who dwell permanently in the Celestial Kingdom of Heaven and therefore know the Celestial Laws there, do not eat meat and why we should not eat meat either: There is a definite reason why We never eat meat, and why human beings should not eat it either. This is because the atoms of which it is composed are the condensation into substance of this world of mankind’s own vicious thoughts and feelings of the past.
