Acts 20:7 Christians met the first day of the week?

And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them... -Acts 20:7 Bible, King James Version

As I understand it the Sabbath Day in the Old Testament, before the Resurrection of Jesus, was on Saturday the seventh day of the week. Because Jesus' Resurrection took place on Sunday the first day of the week most Christian Churches have their Sabbath Day on Sunday. The Seventh Day Adventist Church believes it should never have been changed to Sunday the first day of the week. In fact the Catholic Church claims to have changed the day of worship to Sunday from Saturday.

“Question – Which is the Sabbath day? Answer – Saturday is the Sabbath day. Question – Why do we observe Sunday instead of Saturday? Answer – We observe Sunday instead of Saturday because the Catholic Church, in the Council of Laodicea (A.D. 364), transferred the solemnity from Saturday to Sunday.” – Peter Geiermann, C.S.S.R., The Convert’s Catechism of Catholic Doctrine, p. 50, 3rd edition, 1957.
