Matthew 7:1-5 Cast the Beam out of thine own Eye

The Parable of the Mote and the Beam by Domenico Fetti

1Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. 3And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? 4Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? 5Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye. -Matthew 7:1-5 Bible, King James Version

Some people are quick to see the minor imperfections in others but they do not see, and therefore do not remove, the major imperfections in themselves. Once a person has removed all their own imperfections then from this higher spiritual ground they can reach down and assist others who have fallen into imperfection. This is not done thru judgement, criticism or condemnation but thru the saving grace of Christ which is Divine Love and Mercy.

The Aquarian Gospel of Jesus the Christ by Levi H. Dowling

CHAPTER 100.

20How can you see the splinter in your brother’s eye while you have chunks within your own? 21First take the chunks from out your eye and then you may behold the splinter in your brother’s eye and help him take it out, 22And while your eyes are full of foreign things you cannot see the way, for you are blind, 23And when the blind lead forth the blind, both lose the way and fall into the slough. 24If you would lead the way to God you must be clear in sight, as well as pure in heart.
