God drives Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Eden
The fall of man represents all mankind's fall from the Presence of God and the fall of the Earth Itself. Thus over time it has transformed from a Celestial World of Light to our current state of relative darkness. Nevertheless this Earth will eventually return to its Celestial State or a permanent Golden Age.

3353. About the posterity of the most ancient Church, or Adam after the fall
2950. CONCERNING THE FALL OF MAN.
It was granted me, and others, spirits, and angels who [were] with... me, to perceive in spiritual idea, how the fall of man [occurred], to wit, that the most ancient church was in faith, and thus in company with spirits and angels, and so united, as to be, as it were, in heaven. Like those best [ones] in another earth, of whom [I have spoken]; but that they withdrew, and so the interiors and intuitions have receded from man... - 1748, August 27.
According to the Ascended Masters: "Mankind turned away from the "Beloved I AM Presence" at the end of the second Golden Age, and the people turned away from Love! Therefore if they have gotten into their distress through the use of feelings that were not Love, then they can only rise out of them, by the use of the feelings that ARE Love! There is no other way Life provides, except for the Forgiveness and Use of the Violet Consuming Flame; which in Itself, is the Activity of the Love alone from Our Octave! ...It has to come from the Higher Mental Body and the Ascended Host. It is the only Etherealizing Power Life provides to dissolve that which dishonors God! (p27) ...The veil between your "Blessed I AM Presence" and the outer human self- the outer personal self- was only drawn in the centuries past through hatred.
