Deuteronomy 10:14,17 The heaven of heavens

'Behold the heaven and the heaven of heavens is the LORD'S thy God... For the LORD your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords.'

There are an infinite number of heavens and an infinite number of Gods who rule over them. As far as we are concerned these heavens can be broken down into 3 main Kingdoms of Heaven the highest of which opens up into an infinite number of higher heavens. These 3 Kingdoms of Heaven I call the Higher Mental Plane (the first lowest main heaven,) the Soul Plane (the second heaven,) and the Higher Soul Plane (the third highest heaven.) Below these 3 heavens are the lower Planes which make up the normal human state of consciousness. On these lower Planes are spiritual kingdoms which reflect to some degree or another the glory of the Higher Planes.

Saint Paul teaches; "I knew a man in Christ... caught up to the third heaven." (2 Corinthians 12:2)

The Mormon Church teaches that there are 3 Kingdoms of Heaven. Telestial, the lowest, Terrestrial and the Celestial the highest. Within the Celestial Kingdom are 3 degrees of glory.

This appears to be supported by Saint Paul who describes the 3 degrees of glory one attains thru the resurrection. "There are... celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars." (1 Corinthians 15:40-41)
