Exodus 20:12 Honour thy father and thy mother

12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee. -Exodus 20:12 King James Version (KJV)

True Christian Religion, by Emanuel Swedenborg, [1771], tr. by John C. Ager [1906] at sacred-texts.com

In the spiritual sense, "to honor father and mother" means to reverence and love God and the church. In this sense, God who is the father of all, is meant by "father" and the church by "mother." In the heavens little children and the angels know no other father and no other mother, since they are there born anew of the Lord through the church. Therefore the Lord says: Call no man your father on the earth; for one is your Father, who is in the heavens (Matt. 23:9). This was said with reference to children and angels in heaven, and not of children and men on earth. The Lord teaches the same thing in the common prayer of the Christian churches, "Our Father who art in the heavens, hallowed be Thy name." In the spiritual sense, "mother" means the church, because as a mother on earth nourishes her children with natural food; so does the church nourish her children with spiritual food, and this is why the church is frequently called "mother" in the Word, as... in the Gospels: ["But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?"] Jesus stretched forth His hand towards His disciples, and said, My mother and My brethren are these who hear the Word of God and do it (Matt. 12:48-50; Mark 3:33-36; Luke 8:21; John 19:25-27).

Exodus 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me

        Mighty I AM Presence

Thou shalt have no other gods before me. -Exodus 20:3 King James Version (KJV)

Jesus referred to Our Mighty I AM Presence as God the Father.

Beloved Saint Germain teaches us: "The whole action is obedience to the First Commandment: "Thou shalt have no other Gods before Me." Anyone who will remember that and give everything into the Management of the "Beloved Mighty I AM Presence," walks through the doors of doubt and fear- a Free Being and the Master Presence of Life! We will give everything, as you stand facing your "I AM Presence" and Us; and refusing to give your Life longer to the human!"

Regarding the First Commandment Beloved Archangel Michael has this to say: "Now your love to your "Presence," Precious Ones, is the Whole of the Law of the First Commandment! It is merely the practice of doing That in the outer self which is a continuous clearing of your way and that changes all the energy in and around you. As wave after wave of Love goes to your "Presence," just as naturally as breathing will wave after wave of Its Love and Its Greater Perfection flood into your Beings and worlds and absolutely dissolve and consume everything else... Just send the Love back to That "Presence" for everything It has ever given you, because what would you do if It hadn't given you everything? You wouldn't be! You exist because It loaned you Its Life!" ('The Voice of the I AM' 1972 January p25)

Exodus 19:6 A kingdom of priests

And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel. -Exodus 19:6 Bible, King James Version (KJV)

Arcana Coelestia, by Emanuel Swedenborg, [1749-56], tr. by John F. Potts [1905-10], at sacred-texts.com
8770.
And ye shall be to Me a kingdom of priests... Moreover by "kingdom" is signified truth (n. 1672, 2547, 4691), and by "priests" good; for the priestly office of the Lord, which was represented by the priests, signifies Divine good; and the kingly office of the Lord, which was represented by the kings, signifies Divine truth (n. 1728, 2015, 3670, 6148)... [3] All these things were instituted in the Jewish Church in order that by them might be represented states of heaven; for in heaven there are two kingdoms, one of which is called the celestial kingdom, and the other of which is called the spiritual kingdom. The celestial kingdom is what is called the Lord's priestly office, and the spiritual kingdom is what is called His kingly office. In the latter Divine truth reigns, and in the former Divine good. And because the representative of the celestial kingdom began to perish when they asked for a king, therefore in order that a representative of the Lord's kingdom in the heavens might still be continued, the tribe of Judah was separated from the Israelites, and by the kingdom of Judah was represented the celestial kingdom of the Lord, and by the kingdom of Israel His spiritual kingdom... [4]... (Concerning the two kingdoms in heaven, see n. 3635, 3883-3896, 4112, 4113, 4138.)
8771.
And a holy nation. That this signifies thus the spiritual kingdom, is evident from the signification of "a nation," as being those who are in good (see n. 1259, 1260, 1416, 1849, 6005); and from the signification of "holy," which is predicated of the truth which is of good (n. 6788, 7499, 8127, 8302, 8330); consequently "a holy nation" denotes the good from which is truth. It is said "a kingdom of priests," and "a holy nation," and each expression signifies the spiritual kingdom, but with a difference... These two states succeed each other with those who are being regenerated, in whom the spiritual kingdom, that is, the life of heaven, is being implanted by the Lord; for through truth they are introduced into good, thus into heaven, because heaven is good...

Heaven and Hell, by Emanuel Swedenborg, [1758], tr. by John C. Ager [1900] at sacred-texts.com

221.
DIVINE WORSHIP IN HEAVEN. Divine worship in the heavens is not unlike in externals Divine worship on the earth, but in internals it is different. In the heavens, as on the earth, there are doctrines, preachings, and church edifices. In essentials the doctrines there are everywhere the same; but in the higher heavens they contain more interior wisdom than in the lower. The preachings are in harmony with the doctrines; and as they have houses and palaces (n. 183-190), so they have also church edifices, in which there is preaching. Such things exist in heaven, because the angels are being perfected continually in wisdom and love. For they possess, as men do, understanding and will; and both their understanding and their will are capable of being continually perfected, the understanding by means of truths of intelligence, and the will by means of the goods of love.
222.
But essential Divine worship in the heavens does not consist in going to church and hearing preaching, but in a life of love, charity, and faith, in accordance with doctrine; preachings in churches serve solely as means of instruction in matters of life. I have talked with angels on this subject, and have told them that it is believed in the world that Divine worship consists solely in attending church, listening to the preaching, observing the sacrament of the Supper three or four times a year, and performing other acts of worship according to the requirements of the church; also devoting special times to prayers, and at such times, behaving devoutly. The angels said that these are outward acts that ought to be done, but are of no avail unless there is an internal from which they proceed, which is a life in accordance with the precepts that doctrine teaches.
223.
That I might learn about their meeting in places of worship, I have been permitted at times to attend and to hear the preaching. The preacher stands in a pulpit at the east. Those who are in the light of wisdom more than others sit in front of him; those who are in less light sit to the right and left of these. There is a circular arrangement of the seats, so that all are in the preacher's view, no one so sitting at either side as to be out of his view. At the entrance, which is at the east of the building and on the left of the pulpit, those stand who are being initiated. No one is permitted to stand behind the pulpit; when there is any one there the preacher becomes confused. It is the same if any one in the congregation dissents; and for this reason the dissenter must needs turn away his face. The wisdom of the preachings is such as to be above all comparison with the preachings of this world, for those in the heavens are in interior light. The church edifices in the spiritual kingdom are apparently built of stone, and those in the celestial kingdom of wood; because stone corresponds to truth, and those who are in the spiritual kingdom are in truth, while wood corresponds to good, and those in the celestial kingdom are in good. In that kingdom the sacred edifices are not called churches but houses of God. In that kingdom they are without magnificence; but in the spiritual kingdom they are more or less magnificent.
224.
I have also talked with one of the preachers about the holy state in which those are who listen to the preaching in the churches. He said that everyone is pious, devout, and holy in harmony with his interiors, which pertain to love and faith, for holiness itself is in love and faith, because the Divine of the Lord is in them. He also said that he did not know what outward holiness is apart from love and faith; and when he thought about it he said that perhaps it is something counterfeiting holiness in outward appearance, either conventional or hypocritical; and that such holiness is kindled and sustained by spurious fire from the love of self and the world.
225.
All the preachers are from the Lord's spiritual kingdom; none are from the celestial kingdom. They are from the spiritual kingdom because the angels there are in truths from good, and all preaching must be from truths. There are no preachers from the celestial kingdom because those who are there are in the good of love, and they see and perceive truths from good, but do not talk about them. But although the angels in the celestial kingdom perceive and see truths there are preachings there, since by means of preachings they are enlightened in the truths that they already know, and are perfected by many truths that they did not know before. As soon as they hear truths they acknowledge them and thus perceive them; and the truths they perceive they love, and by living in accordance with them they make them to be of their life, declaring that living in accordance with truths is loving the Lord.
226.
All preachers are appointed by the Lord, and have therefrom a gift for preaching. No others are permitted to preach in the churches. They are not called priests, but preachers. They are not called priests because the celestial kingdom is the priesthood of heaven; for priesthood signifies the good of love to the Lord, and those in the celestial kingdom are in that good; while the spiritual kingdom is the kingship of heaven, for kingship signifies truth from good, and those in the spiritual kingdom are in that truth (see above, n. 24).
227.
The doctrines with which their preachings are in accord all look to life as their end, and none look to faith separate from the life. The doctrine of the inmost heaven is more full of wisdom than the doctrine of the middle heaven, and this more full of intelligence than the doctrine of the outmost heaven; for in each heaven the doctrines are adapted to the perceptions of the angels. The essential of all doctrines is acknowledging the Divine Human of the Lord.

Just as there were male and female prophets there are both male and female Masters. For example, Beloved Mary the mother of Jesus is an Ascended Master.

Exodus 15:11 The gods

'God Inviting Christ to Sit on the Throne at His Right Hand' Artist: Grebber Pieter de

'Who is like unto Thee, O LORD, among the gods?'

There are always two faces to God. The seen and the unseen. First there is the invisible Infinite face of God which is the Essence of All things on all the infinite number of Planes or Worlds. Then there is the visible or Individualized Presence of God. The invisible Infinite face of God is expressed in the Bible as; 'God is light.' (1 John 1:5) or 'God is love...No man hath seen God at any time...God dwelleth in us.' (1 John 4:8,12) On the other hand the visible face of God can be seen all around us in the Inner and outer worlds as St Paul teaches: "He be not far from every one of us: For in him we live, and move, and have our being." (Acts 17:27-28)

St Paul goes on to say: "We are the offspring of God." (Acts 17:29) Our individual I AM Presence is the Individualization of God thus we see there are in fact many gods including our Higher Selves who Jesus spoke of as our Father in Heaven or when He taught; "Ye are gods." (St John10:34) St Paul expressed this by teaching: "Though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,) But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things." (1 Corinthians 8:5-6) The Lords and Gods make up the spiritual Hierarchy of Masters on this earth and throughout All God's Universe. Jesus has His Divine place in this Hierarchy however there is always a Master, Lord, God or Great Cosmic Being such as the Sun, the Great Central Sun, the Galaxy, the Universe etc etc of a Higher Order. For example, according to Theosophy above the Chohan's Jesus and Saint Germain in the spiritual Hierarchy is Lord Maitreya as well as the Mahachohan and the Manu. Above them are the Lord Gautama Buddha and the 3 Pratyeka or Pachcheka Buddhas who belong to an evolution different from ours. Above the Lord Buddha is the Mighty King of the spiritual Hierarchy, one of the Lords of the Flame who came long ago from Venus. He is called by the Hindus Sanat Kumara, the last word being a title, meaning Prince or Ruler. He is of course, entirely distinct from the great Entity called the Spirit of the Earth, who uses our world as a physical body. He resides with His three Pupils [the 3 Pratyeka Buddhas] in an oasis in the Gobi desert called Shamballa...They require no nourishment, and remain unchanged through 1000s of years. (see 'The Masters and the Path' by C. W. Leadbeater p276A Diagram 6 & pp326-7)

Because we cannot see the Infinite Invisible God we need to focus on our I AM Presence as the potentially visible Individualized God Presence in order to actually become One with God. As we rise up this ladder of Unity we become Masters of great Divine Power and Authority. In his book 'The Nine Freedoms' (p150) George King teaches: "Man upon Earth thinks that he can worship an abstraction. He cannot do so. When he becomes more advanced he finds that he can only worship God through Its manifestations. This secret of Evolution has been learned by Interplanetary man."

Exodus 13:21 A pillar of fire

'And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them in the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night.'

The LORD dwells in a World of Fire so when He lowers the draw bridge from His castle so to speak to our world He does so via a Pillar of Fire. If we would like to bridge the lower water worlds to the Higher Fiery Worlds of Heaven we must learn The Way to use the Divine Fire of the Violet Consuming Flame as taught by Saint Germain.

Exodus 7:9-12 I have made thee a god

MOSES, AARON BEFORE THE PHARAOH. THE ROD BECOMES A SNAKE

'And the LORD said unto Moses, See I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet... When pharaoh shall speak unto you saying, Shew a miracle for you: then thou shalt say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and cast it before Pharaoh, and it shall become a serpent. And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and... Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it became a serpent. Then Pharaoh also, called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians in Egypt, they did also in like manner with their enchantments. For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods.'

Just as their have been great white magicians such as Moses and Jesus there have also been powerful black magicians who have tried to interfere with the Divine Plan for a very long time on this earth. Eventually, unless they turn from the darkness to the Light, their power will be taken from them and they will have to go through 'the Second Death' (Revelations 2:11) As I understand it this refers to the total destruction of a person's personality causing them to not only re-embody, or reincarnate, but in fact have to start their human embodiments all over again.
